Chemical Engineers experienced in petrochemical industry for KSA

One of the largest petrochemical company in KSA is seeking of eligible and dynamic candidates for the following position. Company provides housing allowance, transportation allowance, medical care, family status, one month annual vacation, with air ticket to the point of origin plus other benefits.

Strategic Planning Engineer

Qualification : 1.Min. 10 years experience of post qualification experience (candidate with having 7 years experience may be considered if the have relevant experience)

2.Work experience in a large to medium sized petrochemical / chemical industry

With exposure in : 1.Chemical process plant operation or technical services or project function 2.Budgeting and planning function (exposure in preparation of capital budget approval) 3.Exposure in market research / benchmarking / forecasting techniques. 4.Pre Feasibility and feasibility studies (Quick cost estimation techniques / scoping of detailed feasibility and market studies) 5.Financial modeling and investment assessment (familiarity on the importance of leverage ratio / IRR / NPV calculating / debt structures)

Responsibilities :

1.Market research / price forecasting and analysis 2.Competitor analysis and benchmarking studies 3.Scoping and high level investment estimates and pre feasibility assessment for new business investment and expansion of existing operation. 4.Develop marketing plan for new investment and business expansions (lead cross functional team constituted for such studies) 5.Perform profitability assessment and develop value improvement strategies for management review and direction. 6.Develop business plan / budget. 7.Prepare management report and presentation on a regular basis covering: market research investment and business expansion proposal and price trend and forecasting.

Product Development Engineer.

Qualification :

1.Ideal candidates shall have M.Sc Chemistry / B. E in Chemical Engineering 2.Min 5 years experience in product development / R&D in petroleum refinery / petrochemical plant

Responsibilities : 1.Find new application for the existing petroleum solvent of the company 2.Independently manage REACH registration of company products. 3.Make presentations to the Management on the product development activities. 4.Coordinate with costumer on the product qualification process. 5.Interact with the customers technically on petroleum product base analysis 6.Conversant with surfactant or be able to read and present on surfactant chemistry 7.Willing to travel occasionally 8.A team player and willing to work in other management’s sponsored program inside the company from time to time like Six Sigma, EFQM Excellence and Model etc.
