Engineering procurement construction (EPC) scheme of project bacome more popular. Project Owner use EPC project scheme in order to conduct their business smoothly. EPC Project scheme give Project Owner less risk than conventional construction management method. Now EPC has been one of the good delivery for executing project. EPC scheme may use in various sectors such as oil and gas, power & utilities and heavy industries. EPC shall involving typically of contracts characterised by large investments, tight schedules and the introduction of new technology under unproven conditions, resulting in higher risk exposure.In other side EPC Contractor can not be stand alone executing the EPC Project.Cooperation with engineering company, manufacturer, fabricator, vendor, heavy equipment tightly closed in executing EPC project.That¿s why planning and preparation are so important in EPC project. Global market drives owners and contractors to increase their profit margins. Unfortunately, many project owners and EPC contractors pay insufficient attention to developing, planning and execution the risk management process.Owners and contractor must assume risk more detail and response the risk as they can seek to obtain optimum profit.

Course Objectives :

This workshop shall explain how to develop project at the earliest stage in EPC project scheme. And also how to prepare project in planning stage until execution of the EPC project.Training is also to provide more efficiently managing the project risk. Brief and clear scope among the parties and smooth in execution of project. All preparation and good execution shall impact to reach target of project.

Speaker :

Arisman Indrawan, SH. MT. PMP

has started his career as the corporate lawyer specialty in EPC contract and assurance. He is very experiences and successful in many cases of contractual problems and assurance clime for EPC projects. Involved him self in many EPC Projects for 10 years make him interested to learn more about Project Management. MR. Arisman has concluded his Project Management Master Degree from University of Indonesia in major of Risk Management. Beside he was certified for Project Management Professional from Project Management Institute of America. Nowadays he is working as Project Risk Management Manager in the biggest Indonesian EPCCI Company. He is very active to conduct in many trainings and seminar such as internal corporate training, In house training for Krakatau Steel, WIKA, PINDAD and he is also had speech for Project Risk Management in Project Management International Conference in Malaysia at December 2006.

Juanto Sitorus, Ir. MT. PMP.

has involved in many EPC project planning and execution for more then 10 years. Mr Juanto is very dedicated as Professional Project Management Engineer. He has graduate his Project Management Post Program of University Of Indonesia and he has certified him self as Professional Project Manager of Project Management Internation (PMI). As well as Project Management Practicion for his company, Mr Juanto actives to share his knowledge for corporate internal training through professional traineer in many Project Management Training Session. He also active as one of lecture of Riau University.

Radian Zarathustra Hosen, Ir. MEM. PMP. MIT

has experiences in project management for 20 years exeriences in many EPC projects planning and execution. Mr. Radian has involved for various position in projects and EPC management and present he has assigned a vice precident of oone of the biggest national EPC company. Mr. Radian has shared his knowledge and experience in many of lecture session in various companies as Rekayasa Industri, Krakatau Steel, PINDAD, Pertamina and very active as internal trainer for Project Management and Risk Management in his company.
