in West Sumatera (Pariaman).
1. Disaster Risk Reduction Project Manager (Code: DRR-PM)
The incumbent is responsible to manage day-to-day Disaster Risk
Reduction (CLDRR) project, including supervision of DRR staff based in
Pariaman. This position will be responsible for overall planning,
implementation and monitoring of the CLDRR project in Pariaman. This
includes ensuring the project meets its objectives in the field as well
as representing the project at regional Alliance functions. This
position is based in Pariaman District Office and will work closely in
implementing the project with Child Protection and Education sector
staff at the district level and provincial levels.
Specific Requirements:
* University degree in Social Science or other related discipline
* Minimum 10 years working experience, and 5 years in Child
Protection and Education or DRR
2. Disaster Risk Reduction Project Officer – 2 post
(Code: DRR-PO)
The incumbent is responsible to Provide assistance to DRR Project
Manager – Pariaman based, on planning, implementation and monitoring of
the DRR project.
Specific Requirements:
* University degree in Social Science or other related discipline
* Minimum 5 years working experience, and 2 years in Child
Protection and Education or DRR
General requirements to both positions:
* Proven expertise on working children with a good skill on
child-friendly facilitation and involving children in programming.
* Experience in implementing DRR project is preferred.
* Working experience with INGO(s) and/or UN agency(ies).
* Operations experience in SC and specifically within SCiIDN.
* Strong teamwork and ability to lead a team
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong understanding of Government structures and functions as
well as general operations in Indonesia.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, pressured environment.
* Sound reasoning and decision making skills.
* Strong written and verbal English and Bahasa Indonesia.
* Detail oriented
