Research Assistant
The Partnership for Governance Reform in Indonesia is a multi-stakeholder association dedicated to support Indonesian initiatives aiming at supporting governance reform agenda. The Partnership works closely with national and international community to initiate, advocate, and promote sustainable governance reform in Indonesia .
The Partnership brings together the Indonesian Government, Legislature, Judiciary, Civil Society, and the Corporate Sector with the support of the International Community in initiating a long-term process to improve governance in Indonesia in a durable way which expresses Indonesian ownership.

*Organizational Context *
Knowledge & Resource Center is a unit in Partnership for Governance Reform (Kemitraan) in-charge of research and assessment of governance practices in Indonesia as well as development and maintenance of the organization’s knowledge management. Until currently, this unit has succeeded in conducting governance assessment of all provinces namely Partnership Governance Index and other strategic governance researches, such as Kecamatan Capacity Assessment, etc.
As part of the unit’s function to regularly conduct governance assessment and strategic research related works, Kemitraan intends to recruit aResearch Assistant to support the overall research works.
Under the guidance of Executive Director and daily supervision of Knowledge & Research Manager, the Research Assistant will be in-charge of conducting various data collection, maintain the network of researchers and provide technical input on any research & assessment as well as support the day-to-day works related to research and assessment as well as support to the development and maintenance of the organization’s knowledge management system.

*Functions / Key Results Expected *
1. Provide technical input on research and assessment works;
2. Conduct various data collection (quantitative and qualitative data)
3. Maintain regular communications w it h and seek advice from Knowledge & Research Manager to ensure accuracy of the data collected;
4. Maintain regular contact with related institutions and network of researchers;
5. Assist Knowledge & Research Manager in preparing comprehensive and consolidated data and other necessary research related documents;
6. Provide overall support to the unit’s work plan;

*Recruitment Qualifications*
1. Minimum bachelor Degree (S1) major in economics or other relevant fields preferably in macro-economics.
2. Minimum 3 (three) years experience in quantitative research using statistical method.
3. Sound knowledge and skills in statistical method for qualitative and quantitative researches; Has excellent punctuality; Good skills on the use of IS/IT, preferably master in Microsoft Excel, SPSS, Econometric Views, List-Rel, etc.; Team player, able to work respectfully and cooperatively with colleagues of different nationalities and cultural backgrounds; Humble in character and patient in listening to stakeholders
4. Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia both spoken and written.
